Sikkim Celebrate National Doctor’s Day on July 1 .
The main function was organised at Raj Bhawan in the presence of the Governor of Sikkim Shri Ganga Prasad and CM Prem Singh Tamang-Golay.
During the event, several doctors, nurses, para-medical staff, safaikarmacharis, police personnel were felicitated for their selfless service towards our fight against the pandemic.
Sikkim CM CM Prem Singh Tamang-Golay told Sikkim government has steadily upgraded the health infrastructure and facilities in the state in the last year and are well-equipped to handle any situation arising due to COVID. Sikkim Government’s prime responsibility is to provide our people with easy access to health facilities and reiterated my belief in our doctors, nurses, paramedics and urged all to have full faith in them.
