Neeraj Chopra creates history for India. Wins first Gold for India after 2008 in any Olympics.

With this, he has become the first Indian athlete to win Gold for India in any Olympics.

In the finals, he covered his highest of 87.58m in his second attempt to create history.

In 2008 Abhinav Bindra won the first gold for India in any individual event.

On Saturday Wrestler Bajrang Punia also wins the bronze medal for India.
