Badarpur Vidyamandir Mandir High School of Karimganj District has participated on December 27 in different category competitions like Science-based Model competition, Science-based Extempore Speech competition, Science-based Poster Drawing competition organized by Aryabhatta Science Center run by Govt. of Assam at Ghoramara High school.
It was a block-level competition. In this competition, the students of Badarpur Vidyamandir got achievements in three different categories. Ms Shazida Parvin Mazumder, Juber Ahmed, Zahirul Islam and Kamil Ahmed Mazumder, students of class 9, secured 2nd position in the model-making competition group, respectively. Biwaraj Paul from class 7 came 1st in the science-based poster drawing competition category. And Shazida Parvin Mazumder from class 9 came 1st in the Science-based Extempore speech competition. They all will participate in the next level i,e, district level, on January 16 2022, at B. Ed College, Karimganj.
The team did their projects under the supervision of Mr Gaurav Roy, teacher of Vidyamandir school.The technical and scientific mentorship cum guidance was given by Environmentalist Mr Moharana Choudhury from Guwahati for the project on model making.
