Tripura became first states of northeastern states who declared the Kashmir Files Movie Tax free in state.
Tripura CM Biplab Kumar Deb wrote on Twitter , ” #TheKashmirFilesMovie made by @vivekagnihotri, depicts the heart wrenching struggle and trauma faced by Kashmiri Hindus. To support his movie and encourage the peope of the state to watch it, #Tripura govt has decided to make it tax-free in #Tripura.”
Earlier BJP ruled states Karnataka, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh & Haryana government also declared this film is Tax free .
In Assam the Chief Minister will watch the Film at PVR Cinemas, City Center Mall in Guwahati at 6 PM on Tuesday (March 15).
“The film ‘The Kashmir Files’ is a living and touching depiction of the human tragedy that took place in the Kashmir Valley in 1990. This film was written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri . The Film features Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher among others.
