After Maria Tanim and Jagriti Kalwar the frontier town of Assam Lala Bazar once again in positive news headlines. Ayushi Kalwar from Lalabazar of Hailakandi district cracked UPSC exam 2021 rank 618.
Three candidates from Assam have also made it to the list of successful UPSC candidates. The candidates who have cracked the exam from Assam are Shilpa Khanikar (rank 506), Ayushi Kalwar (rank 618), and Debojyoti Barman (rank 639) out of 685.
Ayushi Kalwar is the first Female from Barak Valley who cleared UPSC exam. She is the daughter of Shri Lakshmi Niwas Kalwar, Principal In charge of Chalmers Memorial Higher Secondary School ,Katlicherra, Hailakndi.
The first three ranks of the UPSC 2021 exams have all been clinched by women. Shruti Sharma from UP topped the list, followed by Ankita Agrawal and Gamini Singla.
Earlier in 2018 Maria Tanim & Jagriti Kalwar cracked ACS Examinations in Assam. Maria Tanim was topped the Assam Civil Services (ACS) Examination 2018.
