Longding Battalion under the aegis of IGAR (North) of Spear Corps conducted security meeting at Longding town, Longding District, Arunachal Pradesh on 04 Jun 2022.
The security meeting was aimed at interacting with village heads and families of local cadres of the region to motivate the cadres to shun violence and join the mainstream. Families were briefed about the benefits of surrender and village heads were guided to motivate the cadres and ensure that no local youth joins the insurgents’ group.
A total 48 families and 130 village heads of the Longding district interacted during the meeting. Village heads & families assured security forces that they will ensure that their wards shun violence and join the mainstream.
The Locals expressed their gratitude to the security forces for conducting security meetings for the welfare of the youth of the region.
