There will be five teams out of eight from the North-East of India, as the quarter-finals of the 61st Subroto Cup (Boys U-14) international football tournament gets set for kick-off in two grounds of the national capital on Sunday.
There will be two games in the morning at the Subroto Park Football Ground (SPFG) beginning with a clash between Mingmang Nalbari High School of Assam and Greenwood School of Dimapur, Nagaland, at 7.00am. That game will be followed by the second quarter-final at the same venue between Heirok Higher Secondary School of Imphal, Manipur and NNMHSS, Chelembra, Kerala, scheduled for a 9am kick-off.
In the evening, the action shifts to the Ambedkar Ground at Delhi Gate, where at 3.00pm Government Model High School of Chandigarh take on the Government Chawngfianga Middle School, Mizoram, in the third quarter-final. Then at 5.00pm on the same ground, MIHMYNTDU RC EVE Secondary School, Meghalaya take on the Berwa High School from Chainpur in Gumla, Jharkhand, to determine the fourth and final semi-finalist.
