As part of Puneet Sagar Abhiyan and on the occasion of International Coastal Cleanup Day Indian Navy personnel of INS Netaji Subhas undertook Hooghly River Front CleanUp Drive, Kolkata on 17 Sep 22.
The Environmental Initiative was conducted by @IndianNavy with the participation of NCC cadets at Kolkata. The event generated considerable enthusiasm amongst the local populace for a good cause.
About 58 kg of plastic waste was collected and handed over to KMC, for further processing following environmentally friendly norms.
