Airports Authority of India started a new Restaurant facility at City Side, near Vehicle Parking Area of Silchar Airport. The restaurant is being operated by Sri Krishna Manikanta Hotel, Hyderabad.
The restaurant was inaugurated by Mihir Kanti Shome, MLA Udharbond, Pulak Das, representative of MP, Silchar, Airport Director, P. K. Gorai and Arnab Kumar Das, Senior Manager, AAI.
Passengers and visitors at Silchar Airport can now relish the authentic Hyderabadi Biryani and other South Indian dishes being offered by Manikanta Restaurant. The restaurant will also serve veg, non-veg thalis & other cuisines at very affordable rates. Early morning passengers and visitors can relish the lip smacking breakfast at Airport itself.
In a conversation with Arnab Kumar Das, Sr. Manager, AAI, he intimated that there has been a long demand for quality food services at Silchar Airport. Due to lack of space the same couldn’t be provided till date. He has taken special initiative for the launch of this restaurant. for passenger facilitation.
This restaurant is located outside the Airport building and will remain open from Morning 05 am to 09 pm. General public, passengers, visitors & everyone can come and enjoy the food at the Restaurant. There is an ample parking area nearby to enjoy the drive and dine experience at Silchar Airport.
