Subsidiary Training Centre, BSF, Kharkan Camp, Punjab successfully concluded the Inter Frontier Boxing Competition-2022 from 12th to 15th December. Shri S S Mand, Commanding Officer, STC, Kharkan Camp concluded the ceremony in the presence of senior officers and jawans of force as well as media.
Teams from 11 frontiers of BSF participated in this four-day competition. Through this competition an attempt was made to discover fresh talent and selection of sportspersons who could represent the force in future and participate in various national and international games.
South Bengal Frontier led the medal tally with 03 Gold, 03 Silver and 01 Bronze and won the overall championship trophy. 22 players from South Bengal Frontier participated in this competition.
Dr. Atul Fulzele, IPS, Inspector General, South Bengal Frontier expressed happiness and congratulated the players for their achievements. He stated that the players have brought laurels to this frontier by hoisting the flag of victory. He encouraged the morale of the players and wished them a bright future and also stated that in future our players will continue to raise the honor of the force through various sports.
