Sonali Mishra, IPS, ADG (RR: 1993, Madhya Pradesh cadre) has assumed the charge of Additional Director General at Headquarter, Special Director General, Eastern Command, BSF at Kolkata on 16th Jan’ 2023.
She holds a vast experience of having served in Madhya Pradesh Police in various capacities. She has served in CBI at Delhi and Mumbai as SP and DIG. She has also led the Indian CIVPOL contingent to UN in Kosovo. After Induction in Elite Border Security Force, she has commanded the challenging and militancy infested Kashmir Frontier and Punjab Frontier which is highly prone to Narcotics and Arms smuggling. Among her Staff appointments, she has been posted as IG at SPL DG (WC) BSF Chandigarh and IG at FHQ BSF, New Delhi. She has also been the Director of Premier training institute of BSF i.e BSF Academy Tekanpur, Madhya Pradesh.
Ms Sonali Mishra, IPS, ADG, BSF Eastern Command has been awarded with the prestigious PPMS & PPMDS for her Distinguished Service.
