Subam Rabha became the first football coach from Assam to obtain an AFC A license, the second highest level of coaching accreditation issued by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
The course was held in Mumbai.Total 25 participants out of 25 15 have cleared the examination.
This course was started on 6 October and ended in February.
He is from Guwahati and right now he is the only one to hold this AFC A license. With this license he is eligible for coaching any I league team and assistant coach of ISL teams. Right now he is working as a reserve team head coach of Northeast United FC.
He started coaching career at South Point School and went on working at NEUFC as a grassroots coach and now working as a head coach of reserve team.
