All Assam Sema Naga Council condemn the lyrics used during 14th April Bihu Programme at Sarusajai Stadium Guwahati.
All Assam Sema Naga Council , President Kahoto Sema, Vice President Kasto Sema and General Secretary Hotoi Sema head office situated at Longtong Village under 124 no. Margherita Constituency of Tinsukia district said Bihu is a State festival of Assam and being Sema Naga we are proud of it as we participate in Bihu programme but the lyrics used by Bihu expert Ranjit Gogoi Okora Naga,Nagini (Foolish Naga,Nagini) during Bihu programme at Sarusajai Stadium in Guwahati has given pain to 2.5 lakhs Sema Naga residing at Assam.
We demand to Bihu expert Ranjit Gogoi for a unconditional apolgy before the Sema Naga people residing at Assam said Kasto Sema vice president of All Assam Sema Naga Council.
Okora in Assamese means stubborn and not foolish..if you misinterpreted like this then ofcourse you are a fool.
