Bureau of Indian Standards and Assam Academy of Mathematics at Royal Global University

Royal Global University’s Standards Club in association with BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) organised a standard writing competition. Around 20 Royalitetudents from the Departments of Physics, Chemistry and Maths were part of this insightful event.

Around 20 students took part in the competition.

The first position was bagged by Shyamalina Pathak, Bidisha Deka from the Department of Chemistry, the second position by Mriganabh Kashyap, Raushan Akhtar Ahmed from the Department of Chemistry, the third position by Ashad uz Zaman from the Department of Physics jointly with Natasha Prasad from the Department of Chemistry, and the fourth position by Reyya Vamsi and Wahengbam Niraj Singh from the Department of Mathematics.

On the other hand, The Assam Academy of Mathematics signed a Memorandum of Understanding with The Assam Royal Global University for collaborative activities in terms of research and innovation, guiding research scholars, internship program, projects and training programs and other relevant activities for popularization of Mathematics. The signatories were Dr, Diganta Munshi, Registrar, Royal Global University and Dr. Prabin Das, President, Assam Academy of Mathematics, Guwahati.
