Royal Global University signs MoU with 17 Polytechnic Colleges including Silchar and Karimganj, Tinsukia, Barpeta Polytechnic r

Assam Engineering Institute, Baksa Polytechnic, Barpeta Polytechnic, Bongaigaon Polytechnic, Chirang Polytechnic, Diphu Polytechnic, Goalpara Polytechnic, Kamrup Polytechnic, Karimganj Polytechnic, Morigaon Polytechnic, Nalbari Polytechnic, Nowgong Polytechnic, Silchar Polytechnic, Sonitpur Polytechnic, Tinsukia Polytechnic and Udalguri Polytechnic colleges today signed a Memorandum of Understanding each, with The Assam Royal Global University at the varsity campus today.

The MoUs signed with the common purpose to outline the terms of collaboration between the institutions, provide industry-relevant education and training to students from polytechnic colleges of Assam, caters to providing access to state-of-the-art facilities and Resources by the university along with offering students to earn an undergraduate degree in Engineering or Technology, and aide students to gain skills and knowledge they require to succeed as workforce.

Rohit Singh, Pro Vice Chancellor, welcomed the visiting delegates of the colleges inviting them to make the most of the resources the varsity has to offer along with concentrating on Faculty Development Programs, organizing workshops etc. He emphasized on the importance of all educational institutes providing the best for the students irrespective of caste, creed, and social status. The ceremony was also attended by Manoj K. Das, Director NEDFi, S.P. Singh, Vice Chancellor,  Ankur Ganguly, Dean-Academics, Dr. Diganta Munshi, Registrar, other senior officials, faculty, staff, and students of RGU.

While Ganguly touched upon the importance of fulfilling the Sustainable Development Goals with respect to disbursement of academics and education, S.P. Singh acknowledging the finest quality of technical expertise and skill development the polytechnics can offer, encouraged the colleges to associate with the university in terms of faculty exchange, integration and interaction with the Ph.D. scholars as co-guides and student exchange programs. Further, he invited them to make the most of RGU’s Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Institutional Innovation Centre, organize inter-college cultural and sports fests, share resources like the university’s all-seasons indoor swimming pool apart from sending their students to the two summer camps being organized by Royal Global University this season to help them gain exposure and engage in experiential learning.
