132nd edition of the oldest football tournament in Asia and for the first time in the history of the tournament, Durand cup will be organised at ‘Kokrajhar’. The Indian Army along with support of the leadership of Bodoland Territorial Council will host this elite tournament at Sports Authority of India stadium Kokrajhar
For Kokrajhar Edition, Trophy Tour program is scheduled on 22nd July 2023, where the unique Trophy of Durand Cup will be unveiled at Bodofa Auditorium to the football enthusiasts populace at Kokrajhar. Thereafter, on the same day Trophy will be on display for the public at Kokrajhar District Sports Association Stadium and Bodoland Territorial Council Secretariat.
This august moment will be graced by All India Footbal Federation president Kalyan Chaubey, Chief Executive member of Bodoland Territorial Council, Pramod Boro, Nandita Gariosa, Minister for Sports & Youth Affairs, Government of Assam, Major General Dinesh Hooda, VSM, Chief of Staff, Gajraj Corps, Major General S Murugesan, General Officer Commanding, Red Horns Divsion and Major General Mahendroo, Vice Chairman Durand Organising Committee.
