BSF SET AN EXAMPLE OF HUMANITY; DOUSES THE FIERCE FIRE IN THE VILLAGER’S HOUSE

The Border Security Force (BSF), along with the country’s borders security, is always ready to help the border residents, whether it is the Corona period or an ordinary situation. A similar example has been set by the jawans of the Border Outpost Madanghat, 35 Battalion under the South Bengal Frontier.

On 25th July, 2023 at about 2130 hrs, a sudden fire broke out in the house of Ridu Mandal, s/o Basant Mandal, Nutanpara (Rajapur) village due to unknown reasons. In no time, the fire spread everywhere in the house. When the information of the fire reached the jawans of the Border Outpost Madanghat, the jawans immediately rushed to the spot with fire extinguishers and started extinguishing the fire. The troops brought the fire under control after a lot of effort. There was no loss of life in this incident but a lot of belongings of the villager’s house got burnt.

Villagers expressed gratitude towards BSF

The people of Rajapur village expressed their gratitude to the Border Security Force and said that the fire had taken a formidable form, if the BSF jawans did not reach at the right time, many more houses could have come under fire.

A K Arya, DIG spokesperson of BSF, South Bengal Frontier, expressed happiness over this commendable work of the jawans and stated that the Border Security Force, along with curbing the crimes on the Border, stands by the border residents in every happiness and sorrow. Due to this, good relations are maintained between the Border Security Force and the general public in the border area.
