On 20th September 2023, Assam Rifles launched a proactive campaign in Khumbong Village, Imphal West district, Manipur, to protect the health of the local population. This vital operation involved mosquito fogging to prevent the spread of serious diseases such as Malaria and Dengue. The Assam Rifles team worked diligently to disperse mosquito repellents in critical areas of the village, prioritizing the safety of vulnerable groups, including school-going children and women traders.
