Imphal, HQ IGAR (South) Official Language implementation committee meeting was held on Tuesday 19 Sep 2023 at Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (South), Mantripukhri, Imphal (Manipur).
In a press release HQ IGAR (South) informed that 45 members attend the meeting which was held under the chairmanship of Commandant Dr. Arun Kumar HQ IGAR (South). During the meeting various points were discussed for implementation of Official Language in the offices.The Chairman has emphasized upon the importance of use of Hindi Language in the Offices and requested all members to implement the policy issued by Government of India.
In Addition, Hindi fortnight is also being organised at Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) from 15 Sep 2023 to 29 Sep 2023. On 18 Sep 2023 and 19 Sep 2023, various competitions of Official language Hindi were successfully conducted and winners were awarded cash prize by Commandant Dr. Arun Kumar. A large number of Hindi speaking and Non Hindi speaking soldiers participated in above competitions.
