Assam Rifles, under the aegis of IGAR(South), organized a wreath-laying ceremony on October 1, 2023, to pay tribute to Late Rifleman Martoba Ao, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty on September 30, 2007, during an encounter operation. The battalion also reached out to the Next of Kin of the braveheart and presented a token of remembrance.
