Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) carried out a Friendly Volleyball Match at Songdai Village, District Churachandpur on 04 Oct 2023.
Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) conducted a ‘Friendly Volleyball’ match between youths of Nagaljang village and Assam Rifles troops at Village Songdai of Churachandpur district on 04 Oct 2023. This match was organised to motivate youth in the field of sports and to promote sports culture in border villages of Manipur. The event started with interaction with village youths followed by Volleyball match followed by refreshments. During the event, the youths were asked about their aspirations and were motivated for a symbiotic association and progressive career.
A total of 15 youngsters attended the subject event. During the interaction, youth were briefed about sports culture in India and importance of healthy and stress free life and the opportunities available in today’s environment in various sports genre. They were also motivated to follow their dream sports and bring accolades to their family, State & Nation.
