Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) organised ‘Felicitation Ceremony in honour of SAFF Under 19 Football Cup- 2023’ winning team player Master Arjun of Moirang village of Bishnupur District (Manipur) at Sendra on 22 October 2023.
Master Arjun along with Masters Manglentheng Kipgen, Thumsol Tongsin, Surajkumar Singh Ngangbam, Ricky Meetei, Linky Meitei Chabungbam, Kelvin Singh Taorem, Naoba Meitei and Dinesh Singh Soubam were the other players from the state who represented the country as part of the U-19 team at the tournament and brought laurels.
These players have done the state and the country proud and are role models for the youth of the state to follow. Their achievement emphasizes the fact that hard work, determination and working towards the right goals, leads one to individual success in life, contributes towards the betterment of society and the nation building process.
