A Screening Exam for Sentinel care programme for value based education under Mentoring of Assam Rifles in collaboration with NIEDO and Axis bank was conducted on 27 October at Aizawl. A total of 57 students appeared for the same. The screening test will be conducted again on 30 October at Serchhip and Champhai, alongwith the online exam for students residing in far flung areas.
Assam Rifles in collaboration with NIEDO has conceptualized the Project “Sentinel” – Centre for Educational Excellence, Skilling and Wellness so as to secure a better future for the youth of Mizoram, wherein thirty shortlisted young girls and boys will be mentored for a period of twelve months for competitive examinations of various Engineering and Medical Entrance examinations along with allied streams.
During this period of twelve months complete guidance with respect to training them for the competitive world will be taken care by Assam Rifles in collaboration with NIEDO and Axis bank at Assam Rifles Complex Zokhawsang.
Maximum participation is called from intrested children from far flung areas to appear for the screening exam at Serchhip and Champhai on 30 October .
