Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) conducted a ‘Wreath Laying Ceremony’ , to pay homage to it’s Braveheart Rfn/GD KR Thangkhul of 4 Assam Rifles, who laid down his life on 28 Oct 1968 while retaliating an insurgent ambush .
