Assam Rifles organised “A Day with Coy Cdr” along with “Run for Unity” as part of “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas” at L Khunou village of Noney district of Manipur on 31 Oct 23. The aim of the event was to further strengthen the bond / connect with the future pillars of the Nation and to preserve the unity and integrity of the country.
The programme was attended by locals and students from various schools of L Khunou village and other nearby villages. The event included activities like Run for Unity, Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge, weapon display, drawing competition on the theme “I love my Country”, various sports activities like tug of war & musical chair, distribution of certificate & prizes to winners, singing of national song by students and teachers.
The event gave an insight knowledge of life in Armed Forces to the future pillars of the society which will facilitate them in not only to avoiding the path of militancy but also to avail opportunities towards the mainstream.
