Security Forces under the aegis of Headquarters IGAR (South) organised Distribution of Books, Musical Instruments and Essential Items at an Orphanage at Thamnapokpi, Moirang of Bishnupur District (Manipur) on Children’s Day, 14 November 2023.
The project was conceptualised and completed as a part of Security Forces Civic Action Programme for the financial year 2023-24. The distribution was also aimed at motivating the future generations of Manipur who can immensely contribute towards comprehensive Nation building. The troops of Security Forces also celebrated Children’s Day alongwith the children, beaming with boundless joy. It is noteworthy that the children of the orphanage have shown excellent improvement in the field of academics and sports over the past few years, and such events act as a boost to motivate the children to excel in their chosen activity.
