Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) paid homage to the Bravehearts at Battalion Headquarters at Churachandpur district on 13 Nov 2023 who made supreme sacrifice in the line of duty on 13 Nov 2021.
Assam Rifles paid homage to the Bravehearts, who in the richest traditions of the security forces made supreme sacrifice in the line of duty for the motherland on 13 Nov 2021 in Churachandpur district, Manipur. To abide by the traditions always choosing the integrity and security of Nation before Self, Commandant, Assam Rifles along with four Riflemen and two non- combatants of Jannbaaz Chhialis laid down their lives in Churachandpur district of Manipur on 13 Nov 2021. The Battalion laid wreath, remembered its Bravehearts, reached out to their family members and paid their respect.
As part of Battalion’s commitment towards well being and growth of Veer Naris and dependents of the brave sons of Motherland, the Battalion felicitated the Veer Naris and laid wreath at the memorials constructed in the paternal villages of the breavehearts.
