Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR(S), conducted “A day with company commander” at Tumsom village of Ukhrul District, Manipur on 16 Nov 2023. Fifty students accompanied by teachers and village authorities visited the Assam Rifles Company Operating base at Tusom for the event.
During the conduct of event, various activities like conduct of motivational lecture, Tug of war, badminton match etc were organised. Finally, the event concluded with prize distribution for the winners followed by refreshments for all the students and staff.
Students and teachers thoroughly immersed in the experience and requested for more such events to balance their perspectives through such recreational activities, particularly amidst the prevailing unrest and tension in the state.
