Security Forces under the aegis of IGAR (S) organised Drawing Competition for students of Mukavi Primary School at Poi Village, Ukhrul district as on 17th November 2023.
30 students of the school from Class- I to Class- III participated in the drawing competition. The young minds were excited and thrilled to express their vivid imagination. The much awaited event was acknowledged and received by the students and school staff with vigour & enthusiasm. As a token of appreciation and encouragement to the budding minds, prizes were distributed to the children.
The event culminated with light refreshments to the students and the teaching staff. With the lasting impressions of the Security Forces, the smooth conduct of the event has garnered the local support for more such events in the future for the youth & students.
A friendly volleyball match with youth of village and Security Forces at Songdoi at Churachandpur district was also conducted on 16 Nov 2023. This match was organized to motivate young energy and to promote sports culture in border villages of Manipur. The event started with interaction with village youth followed by friendly volleyball match and refreshments. 15 local youngsters attended this friendly event. During interaction, the youth were briefed about the promoting sports culture in India and the opportunities available in present environment of sports genre and were motivated to follow their dream sports and bring accolades to their family, State and Country.
