Assam Rifles organised Medical Camp for Ex-servicemen and local populace at Maram Garrison in Senapati District, Manipur on 20th November 2023.
The aim of conducting the Medical Camp was to provide treatment and medicine for the Ex-servicemen of Assam Rifles as well as for the local populace of entire Senapati Region. A total of four doctors including two civil doctors from PHC Maram and Bendramei attended to the patients & provided curative & preventive medical care. Medical check up of 511 persons including 278 Ex-servicemen and 233 local populace including women & children from various villages of Senapati District along with distribution of essential medicines was carried out.
Ex-servicemen and local pupulace expressed their profound gratitude to the Assam Rifles for organising Medical Camp and requested to organise such Medical Camp in future also.
