The day started with a bright sunny day welcoming the rallyist to Tawang. The rally moved from Tawang
War Memorial to the mighty famous Bumla pass where the cadets had first hand experience of watching the Chinese landscape and the border.
This was followed by a lovely cultural show at GHSS Tawang. The audience were enthralled with captivating performances based on local folk music. Major General Gagan Deep Additional Director General NCC Directorate NER interacted with the cadets over a cup of tea and encouraged them to keep their focus clear about their future in NCC.
The evening was well spent with a visit to Tawang monastery and learning about the traditions of budhism. This was followed by a visit to war memorial and light and sound show for all.
A long day culminated with the much deserved rest and recoup overnight to be starting the journey onwards tomorrow towards Kalaktang.
