Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw has reviewed the safety aspects of Indian Railways today.
In a high-level meeting with Railway Board members of Ministry of Railways, General Managers and other Zonal and Divisional Officials and RDSO, he discussed various safety aspects today.Vaishnaw has emphasized on various safety aspects of automatic signalling , long working hours of crews , yard modernization and safety in yard infrastructure, disaster management team.
Further, he has instructed for a fortnightly safety action plan and its review on regular basis.
P. Uday Kumar Reddy, General Manager, Metro Railway and other Principal Heads of Departments attended this meeting virtually today.
