As an initiative to improve the quality of life in remote villages of Manipur with help of sustainable sources, Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) distributed 20 Water Storage Tanks (1000) Ltrs to Mapum village of Kamjong District under OP SADBHAVANA project on 30th November 2023.
With Acute shortage of water in the area, such initiatives bring the hope into the lives of the locals living in such remote areas. The villagers were very much pleased to receive such assistance from Assam Rifles and appreciated the initiative, which also helps in strengthening the cooperation & synergy with local populace.
