Under the aegis of IGAR(S), Assam Rifles organized a meaningful event on 05 December 2023, involving the distribution of essential items and sweets to the children of The Mission Blind School in Heikakpokpi, Tengnopal district, Manipur.
The atmosphere at The Mission Blind School in Heikakpokpi was filled with warmth and joy as Assam Rifles personnel interacted with the children with the young participants celebrating the occasion by showcasing their talents, singing songs, including the specially dedicated “Assam Rifles Song” as a token of appreciation for the personnel of Assam Rifles.
In response to the benevolent outreach and support by Assam Rifles, the children and staff of the school expressed immense gratitude. This acknowledgment was particularly noteworthy as it highlighted the long standing and deep bond between the two as Assam Rifles had been providing ceaseless assistance to the school especially during challenging times, such as communal violence in Manipur.
