Assam Rifles organised training on ‘Beekeping as part of the National Beekeeping and Honey Mission’ on 12th December at Lokra, Sonitpur (Assam).
Assam Rifles took a commendable initiative by organizing a training session on Beekeeping as part of the National Beekeeping and Honey Mission on 12 December 2023. The event aimed to empower participants with essential skills and knowledge related to beekeeping, fostering sustainable practices and contributing to the mission’s broader objectives. The training provided a platform for enthusiasts to learn about the intricacies of beekeeping, emphasizing its significance in promoting biodiversity and enhancing agricultural productivity. By bridging the gap between theory and practical application, Assam Rifles played a pivotal role in supporting a crucial aspect of agro-based livelihoods and environmental conservation through this well-organized training initiative. The event was participated by 35 people (06 Assam Rifles personnel and 29 locals).
