Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) organised “Ex-Servicemen WARB Meeting” at Sendra, Bishnupur District (Manipur) on 14th December 2023.
The meeting was attended by ex-servicemen from villages of Kumbi, Tronglaobi, Terakhongsanbi, Phubala, Moirang and Bishnupur. The meeting was conducted with an aim to understand the problems faced by the ex-servicemen and also work out measures that would contribute towards the welfare and upliftment of the ex-servicemen. Ways to improve the availability of resources and medical facilities were worked out and methods to collectively engage in social -development works were also discussed. Assam Rifles stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the proud veterans of the armed forces of our country and takes all efforts for their welfare and development.
