Northeast Frontier Railway jointly received the Safety Shield Award along with Southern Railway during the recently concluded 68th Railway Week Awards, 2023 for maintaining high standard of efficiency in regards to various safety parameters during 2022-23.
Minister of Railways, Ashwini Vaishnaw, presented the shield to General Manager of N. F. Railway Shri Chetan Kumar Shrivastava & General Manager of Southern Railway during a function that held on 15th December, 2023 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
Jaya Varma Sinha, Chairperson and CEO, Railway Board and other senior railway officials were also present on the occasion.
