25 students from Manipur who formed part of the National Integration Tour interacted with Lieutenant General Rana Pratap Kalita, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, SM, VSM, General Officer Commanding in Chief, Eastern Command, and Governors of West Bengal and Goa. The tour organized under Operations Sadbhavana, had students from Kamjong, Imphal and Tegnoupal District, Manipur.
Lieutenant General Rana Pratap Kalita, shared a profound reservoir of valuable insights and experiences that significantly enriched the students’ understanding during the interactive session. He passionately encouraged them to consider contributing to the Indian Armed Forces as a means of serving the nation, providing invaluable guidance for both personal and professional aspirations.
General Kalita’s impactful words deeply resonated with the students, inspiring them to dream ambitiously and strive for greater heights. He emphasized that success relies on hard work, dedication, and perseverance.
The esteemed Governors, C. V. Ananda Bose and P S Sreedharan Pillai, graciously shared a wealth of valuable insights and experiences with the students during the interactive session. His discourse extended beyond the realms of governance, touching upon life lessons and the pursuit of personal and professional aspirations. The Governor’s encouraging words resonated deeply with the students, encouraging them to dream big and aspire for greater heights. Both Governors emphasized on significance of hard work, dedication, and perseverance as essential ingredients in the recipe for success.
The event was conducted as part of ongoing National Integration Tour under Operations Sadbhavana to provide opportunities to local students to meet eminent dignitaries, visit places and institutions of National and Historical Importance in order to broaden their perspective and widen their horizon.
The interaction thus served as a catalyst for empowerment, leaving the students with a renewed sense of purpose and the confidence to navigate their academic and personal journeys with vigour and optimism.
