ASSAM RIFLES ORGANISED DISTRIBUTION OF WINTER HARVESTING POTATOES SEEDS AND MEDICAL CAMPS AT C HANDEL & TEGNOUPAL DISTRICTS

Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) organised distribution of winter harvesting potatoes seeds to the needy & stranded peoples of Chakap village on 16th January 2024, Chandel District (Manipur) during the times of unrest in Manipur.

The relief program was organised by Assam Rifles in continuation of its efforts for exemplifying compassion and support during challenging times. Two bags of winter harvesting potatoes seeds were distributed to the farmers of Chakap village Chandel District (Manipur) to support the village to fulfill their domestic needs & achieve financial goals.

Approx 63 families were benefited and awareness was given to increase the agricultural productivity in the region.

At T’Minou, Tengnoupal District on 15 January 2024, as part of the Assam Rifles Civic Action Program (ARCAP), Assam Rifles conducted an essential services medical camp. The camp provided essential healthcare services to 210 villagers including 49 men, 94 women, and 67 children from T Minou, addressing diverse health concerns.

This initiative underscores Assam Rifles’ ongoing efforts to make a positive impact on the lives of people in the region, showcasing their dedication to fostering a healthier and stronger community and their role as a catalyst for positive change in the lives of the residents of T’Minou.
