An Ex-Servicemen Rally will be organised at Misa Military Station on 28 January 2024 to pay homage to Veterans and ‘Veer Naris’ of the Indian Army and to express gratitude to the fraternity for their paramount contribution to the Armed Forces. The event will be attended by approximately 450 Veterans and 11 Veer Naris from Nagaon and Morigaon districts of Assam
The event is being organised with the aim of reaching out to maximum number of Veterans, Veer Naris and their next of kins to acknowledge their sacrifices and extend a platform to them to interact with military as well as civil agencies in order to resolve their grievances. The rally would witness setting up of various facilities for the Veterans and their next of kins to include ‘Grievance Redressal Cell, Ex-Servicemen Registration Cell, Unit Run Canteen, SBI Cell’ and ‘Medical Assistance Cell & Check-Up Stations.
The event will be attended by various Civil and Armed Forces dignitaries to showcase their unflinching resolve and commitment for the Ex-Servicemen and their families by ensuring a comprehensive and systematic grievance redressal set-up.
