In yet another success in its crusade against smuggling activities, Assam Rifles recovered 3000 ( sniper 30-6) cartride rounds and 10 Passive Night Sight (PNS) in general area main market Sangau, Lawngtlai district on 05 March 2024.
Acting on specific intelligence of movement of explosives on Sangau (Sangau – Pangkhua Road) in Lawngtlai district in Mizoram, Assam Rifles intercepted a white tata sumo and on thorough search recovered, Cartridge (Sniper30-6) – 3000 rounds and 10 PNS Devices. The driver was apprehended and alongwith recovered items handed over to the Police.
