The Indian Army has taken a significant stride toward sustainable development and community welfare by providing essential infrastructure to remote border villages in Sikkim under its flagship mission “Operation Sadbhavana”.
As part of the continued endeavours, to uplift the lives of the villagers, Trishakti Corps installed four 45 KVA Generators in four remote border villages situated above 13000 feet above MSL in East Sikkim.
The project will fulfil the electricity requirement of the villagers living in extremely harsh climatic conditions.
Indian Army while guarding the borders in the Himalayas, is committed towards upliftment of border areas and contribution towards Nation Building.
