Assam Rifles, In observance of World Environment Day organized a series of impactful events aimed at promoting environmental awareness and fostering community engagement with residents of Sita village in Tengnoupal District. On this significant occasion, the Security Force organised an inspiring motivational lecture to highlight the importance of energy conservation, water conservation and to maintain pollution free environment.
This initiative is part of Assam Rifles’ ongoing commitment to community engagement and environmental sustainability. The lecture aimed to educate and motivate the villagers on the importance of conserving energy and water, essential resources that are increasingly under strain due to climate change and population growth. Additionally, the discussion highlighted practical steps that individuals and communities can take to reduce pollution and protect the local environment.
