Assam Rifles organised a Donation Drive in Phundrei village of Thoubal District, Manipur on 27 May 2024.
The aim of the donation drive is to reach out to the storm affected people of Phundrei. The affected families have been provided with Clothes, books and utensils which were collected by a voluntary Donation Drive organised by Assam Rifles.
A total of 50 families of Phundrei got benefitted from the same. The village authorities appreciated and expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards Assam Rifles for this thoughtful gesture.
ASSAM RIFLES ORGANISES FRIENDLY VOLLEYBALL MATCH IN MANIPUR
In its ongoing commitment to the youth of local communities, Assam Rifles organised a friendly volleyball match with the youth of village Larong Khunou, Chandel District on 27 May 2024. This event was aimed at encouraging sports and games amongst the inhabitants of the villages.
The event witnessed an overwhelming response from the nearby villages. Over 120 villagers witnessed the event.
The local populace expressed their gratitude to Assam Rifles as it facilitated a platform for the sports persons and sports loving people of the village.
