Assam Rifles Official Language Implementation Committee was held on 14 June 2024 at HQ DGAR, Laitkor, Shillong under the Chairmanship of Major General JS Bainsla, SM, Additional Director General Assam Rifles. The meeting was attended by Principal Staff Officers of Directorate General Assam Rifles, Head of Branches and Commandants of local units.
During the meeting, reports were given by all members regarding implementation of Official Language Policy in their offices and Agenda Points were discussed. The Chairman of the Committee inspired all the officers to increase the use of Hindi in their day to day work. In his speech, he gave emphasis on implementing Hindi through motivation and encouragement. He further added that Hindi noting/drafting incentive scheme should be introduced in all offices. The Meeting was conducted by Smt Asitkamal, Hindi Officer and Member Secretary of the Committee.
In the end, the Chairman expressed his satisfaction on the outcome of the meeting.
