Assam rifles, under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (South), joined hands with the NESEED Skill development training foundation and launched a skill development program for the youth of Churachandpur district, Manipur.
The program offers training in the trades of Assistant Electrician , Construction Wall Painter and Decorator. A total of 60 candidates, have been enrolled in the program. The training is being conducted by experienced instructors from NESEED and upon completion, the candidates will be provided with placement assistance.
The initiative aims to empower the local youth with industry-relevant skills, enhancing their employability and contributing to the region’s economic growth. The program also seeks to promote peace and progress in the area by engaging the youth in constructive activities.
The program has received an overwhelming response from the local community, and the selected candidates have shown great enthusiasm and dedication.
