A young Indian team, without several of its star players, crumbled to the 13-run defeat against Zimbabwe in Harare.
India won the toss and decided to field first.
Ravi Bishnoi was the standout bowler for India, taking 4/13, while Washington Sundar also impressed with 2/11 restricted Zimbabwe 115/9 in 20 overs.
Zimbabwe’s bowlers kept the pressure on the Indian batters throughout the innings.
However, Zimbabwe’s captain Sikandar Raza starred with the ball, taking 3 crucial wickets.
Captain Shubman Gill top-scored 31 and Washington Sundar scored 27 runs. India scored 102 all out. It was India’s lowest all out total in T20 International Cricket in the last eight years.
Zimbabwe lead 1-0 in the series.
