Medical team of Assam Rifles saved the life Mrs Ranjina, age 36 years, resident of Village Yairipok, Thoubal district on 24 July 2024 at 1100h.
The victim, bitten by a venomous snake while working in garden and was immediately rushed to the unit hospital of Assam Rifles and was swiftly provided medical aid by the medical team. The timely action not only saved human life but also reinforced the trust and faith of Assam Rifles amongst the locals of Phundrei, Thoubal district, Manipur.
ASSAM RIFLES PROVIDED HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE IN CHANDEL DISTRICT
A civilian vehicle transporting fresh supplies went off road due to poor road conditions. Responding swiftly, an Assam Rifles team rushed to the site.
Immediate first aid was administered to the injured, ensuring the safety of those involved. The fresh supplies were successfully transported to the nearest Assam Rifles post and the civilians were provided medical care at Joupi. AR JCB retrieved the vehicle in the morning and cleared the route.
This prompt and efficient response underscores Assam Rifles’ dedication to the well-being and safety of both personnel and civilians, reflecting their readiness and commitment in emergent situations.
