Acting on specific intelligence of presence of arms and ammunition in general area near N Khaukual village, Churachandpur District, Manipur, Assam Rifles and Manipur Police launched a joint search operation in 30 July 2024 and recovered one AK 47 Rifle, one pt 303 Rifle, four single Barrel Rifles, five Improvised Mortars Bombs (Pompi), ammunition and war like stores. The recovered items have been handed over to the Manipur Police.

Acting on specific intelligence of presence of arms and ammunition in general area Tekcham in Thoubal district, Manipur, Assam Rifles and Manipur Police launched a joint search operation in 30 July 2024 and recovered One Sniper Rifle, One Bolt action rifle, One 9mm pistol, Six grenades ammunition and war like stores. The recovered items have been handed over to the Manipur Police.
ASSAM RIFLES ORGANISED A CAREER COUNSELLING SESSION AND INTERACTION MEET WITH LOCAL YOUTH AT SENDRA VILLAGE, BISHNUPUR DISTRICT (MANIPUR)
Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) organised a career counselling session and interaction meet with the local youth at Sendra Village, Bishnupur District, Manipur on 31 July 2024.
The session was specifically aimed at enlightening the youth about upcoming opportunities to join the Indian Armed Forces and tread on the right path to achieve their dream career. This initiative assisted 31 youth to include three ladies who have volunteered and will be assisted in applying for upcoming the SSC MTS (Non-Technical) and Havildar (CBIC & CBN) Examination 2024.
The individuals extended their deep appreciation to the Assam Rifles for the guidance and assistance provided to achieve their dream of, “Selflessly Serving the Nation”.
