In a significant initiative aimed at enhancing the welfare of air veterans and addressing the issues related to the SPARSH (System for Pension Administration (Raksha)) portal, a special camp will be inaugurated by Air Marshal Jagjeet Singh, Senior Vice President, AFA Headquarters.
The event will commence with the arrival and welcome of several distinguished guests, including Air Marshal Jagjeet Singh, PVSM, VSM ( Retd) ; Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha, PVSM, AVSM, VM (Retd); the Station Commander of 6 Wing AF; and Air Marshal PK Ghosh, AVSM. Their presence underscores the importance of this initiative and highlights the Indian Air Force’s commitment to the well-being of its veterans.
The programme will feature a felicitation ceremony for notable dignitaries who have significantly contributed to the welfare of air veterans. Air Marshal PK Ghosh, Director General Administration; the Station Commander of 6 Wing AF; Prity Bahuguna from DAV; Lt. Col. P. Jain from ECHS; Sandita Aditya from PCDA; and Asutosh Kumar, DGM of SBI, will be honored for their dedicated service and support to the serving and retired IAF personnel.
Following the felicitation, there will be addresses by key representatives, each focusing on their respective domains and contributions to the welfare of air veterans. The ECHS, DGM of SBI, PCDA, and Station Commander of 6 Wing AF will share insights and updates on their ongoing initiatives. The Senior Vice President of AFA Headquarters, the Chief Patron, the Director General (Admin) of Air HQ, and DAV representatives will also address the gathering, emphasizing the collective effort in ensuring the well-being of retired personnel.
The camp, with the enthusiastic participation of over 500 air veterans, will provide comprehensive solutions on the SPARSH issues. This system is crucial for efficient pension management, and the camp aims to resolve any issues and ensure smooth operation for all users. The initiative reflects the Indian Air Force’s proactive approach to addressing the concerns of its retired personnel, ensuring they receive the support and resources they deserve.
The programme will conclude with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all attendees and contributors for their support and participation.
